The summer of 2019 marks a particularly intensive hotel opening phase for TUI. Through our own and joint investments, as well as working in collaboration with key hotel partners, we have opened over two dozen new hotels across the world to offer our customers more choices.
In addition to the focus hotel brands shown in this video, TUI has opened further hotels with long-standing joint venture partners as well as other key partners. Hotels & Resorts, Cruises and Destination Experiences are TUI’s key growth areas. These businesses already account for around 70 per cent of Group earnings. The Group’s hotel segment, which delivers a strong earnings contribution, will be further expanded by new Riu, TUI Blue, Robinson and TUI Sensimar hotels in Winter 2019/20.
